2013
We Started With A Vision
In December 2013, Pastor Vincent and Joy received the vision to plant a diverse, mission-driven, Christ centered church in Denton, Texas. They hosted the first vision meeting at their home in June 2014 where they unveiled to family and friends God's calling to plant Cross Church. The plan was put into action starting with weekly Bible study and community outreach activities. In October of that year, Cross Church began having weekly preview worship services and the vision was becoming a reality.

2015
We Launched In A Movie Theater
In January 2015, Cross Church Cross Church officially launched . While others planted in schools, Pastor Vincent instead had a different vision to plant in a movie theater. He approached Silver Cinema Theater about hosting services at their location and they concurred providing a unique environment for our contemporary worship service.

2016
We Found A Place To Call Home
In January 2016, we realized that we need a space of our own. So, Cross Church relocated from the movie theater to our current worship location at 1100 Dallas Drive in Denton, Texas. Having our own facility not only meant we had a place to worship but also a place to serve. Later in 2016 we started a monthly food pantry and outreach to the homeless community.

2018
We Continue To Grow
In July 2018, we expanded our facility to provide more space in our worship and children's area. This additional space also allowed us to better serve the community. We've also expanded our leadership team and ministries allowing us to better pursue our mission to reach the lost and build the believer.

2022
We Expanded Our Territory
In September 2022, God blessed us to expand again. We built a new Worship Center, which doubled our capacity. We also enlarged our foyer area foster more connection and community. Finally, we converted our old worship space into the Legacy Center, a new multipurpose space for our kids ministry.

We Celebrate Our 10th Anniversary
In January 2025, In 2025, Cross Church celebrates a decade of ministry, growth, and life change. What began as a small gathering of passionate believers has grown into a thriving, Christ-centered community. Over the past 10 years, we’ve seen lives transformed, families restored, and our reach extend beyond the walls of the church into the heart of Denton and beyond.
